National Fish and Wildlife, Non-profit
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation has offices in DC and Minneapolis. It is housed with Homeland security. Created by George H. Bush in the 80's allegedly by Congress. This has ties to big oil, check out who sits on their board of directors and contributors. How could Congress create a non-profit? Why would they create this for big oil? This has many current implications. The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation gives grants to the US Fish and Wildlife Service. This could be good cooperation or corruption, you investigate and decide! Please go to the link and take a look.

Tiger, Lions and then Bears
This is just a beginning. We have started writing out what happened to us, our family’s and friends when we were dragged into what appears to be a source of funding for our government’s covert operations both overseas and domestically. We’ll take you from our point of entry: lions, ligers, tigers and bears escaping and attacking children, livestock pets and property, to how we discovered a corporate cascade embedded within the USDA’s APHIS exotic animal licensing program. From there we‘ll take you through the information and processes that convinced us that what we uncovered was not an elaborate exotic animal trafficking scheme, but was actually a cascade set up to distribute goods and launder money. We’ll take you step by step through the COINTELPRO abuse by the government, and will share documents that prove complicity on numerous levels, including courts. By the end you will understand that US officials sanctioned activities we hear defined as “terrorism” - unless the bomb threats, breaking and entering, hiring of Level 3 sex offenders to stalk children, pedophilia, drug trafficking, hired hits, wire tapping, theft of property from inside homes and mailboxes… were perpetrated by the NSA and individuals working on behalf of the NSA who want to keep these unholy alliances secret, in which case it is not terrorism but is a counter intelligence operation necessary for national security.
If you have not read, “Compromised” by Terry Reed and John Cummings, you might want to pick it up. The series of abuses and lies used against Colonel Reed and his family make it seem as though there is a scripted protocol for destroying people because all of these things were done to me/us and in the same order:
1) Claim the person falsely represented themselves as a law enforcement officer.
2) Manufacture false charges and if possible, insert “armed and dangerous” so there is a
possibility they will be shot.
3) Create a criminal record, complete with aliases and a new DOB.
4) Unlawfully enter a home/business to steal records that might prove to be have “inconvenient” information in them.
5) Harass, tap phones, damage property.
6) Attempt a clean assassination because “murder” is against the law.
7) Deny. Lie. Deny. Lie. Withhold documents. Deny. Lie.
This is seven years of information gathered from conversations, documents, interviews, eyewitness accounts, and from the application of logic and sound reasoning. It is our opinion that people who take the time to read this will quickly and easily see through the lies told by state, local and federal officials. Our quest to simply obtain the truth caused agents of our government to send chronic adulterers, chronic liars, government informants, double agents, terrorists, swindlers, con-artists, schizophrenics, computer hackers, Level 3 sex offenders, attorney’s, cops, gang members, pedophiles, federal agents, US Attorney‘s, District and Federal Court Judges….many of whom fit the profile of more than one of the aforementioned into our midst. All of the above proved to have one thing in common: an inability to tell the truth.
We will tell and show you the ridiculous stories local law enforcement and the FBI expects us to accept - in the face of fact-based evidence that proves them wrong. We will tell you about the incredible things done to silence citizens who would not accept these lies, which will include the fabrication of bigger and more implausible lies that are again proven ridiculous. We’ll show you the fondness the Minnesota FBI has for categorizing everything as “coincidence”. Their absurd application of a coincidental standard in the face of evidence showing corrupt complicity and malice perhaps explains why this same office failed so miserably and allowed the murder of 3000 American citizens on September 11, 2001: the intel about the plan to attack our country with planes and the preparations being made by known terrorists for such an attack were probably viewed as coincidence. They needed more evidence before they could act…and so the planes hit. What did the Minneapolis Office of the FBI do when questioned about the rumor that they had received credible intelligence information that, had they acted, could have prevented the 9/11 disasters? They lied.
Research by others has revealed that the CIA has a long-standing working covert operations relationship with circuses. This was unknown to us in 2001, and was confirmed, independently through two credible sources, in June of 2008. What we believe we found, after seven long years of digging, clawing and scratching for the truth appears to be our governments expansion of this long standing relationship where “sanctuaries”, the dumping grounds for excess zoo and circus animals, are being used as fronts for the laundering of money.. In this case, the cascade was not only set for expansion into each of the 50 states, but had tentacles that already reached into Guam and South Africa. Headquarters was not located in Texas with the CEO, but was an address in Washington, DC.
We didn’t understand what was happening and were not sure who was perpetrating the lies and abuse until the taped recording marked with the name of a Level 3 sex offender was removed from an envelope in my mailbox - it had been mailed to me by an attorney. When I contacted AUSA Bill Koch in Minneapolis and asked him why there were still taps on my phone and who would be interested in stealing information from my mailbox he said, “The NSA.”
Part I: Lions, Tigers and Bears.
In 2001, I visited an exotic animal "sanctuary" in Racine, MN, a town with a population of about 300. The facility was known as BEARCAT Hollow and was owned by Kenneth and Nancy Kraft. There were several things amiss, not the least of which was the fact that we were allowed to watch as a goat bled profusely from it's nose. After finishing our disturbing and eye-opening tour, my friend and I spoke to the woman who called herself the curator and asked where the animals came from and how they were funded because the conditions were deplorable. We heard these were abandoned/abused animals and that the facility owners were nearly always broke because they put everything into providing for the poor creatures. She claimed that neither she nor the rest of the paid staff received their wages because they just couldn't afford to pay anyone. So, my friend and I discussed doing a fundraising venture that could involve our children, which would teach them to be good stewards of their environment while helping the animals. Before I got too far into the planning I had some questions that needed answering. I was concerned because the curator told us their 18 bear cubs were leftover from an order for 100 bear cubs for delivery to Yellowstone's Bear World. I thought it odd that a "sanctuary" would fill orders for bear cubs that would be going anywhere. First question: Was this a real sanctuary? I was doing some calling around when I got a disconcerting call from a man who said his name was Kenneth Arron. He claimed to be on the Board of Directors for BEARCAT Hollow and said his relationship was through Disney, where he had procured most of the animals for their Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and said he had leased a male lion named “Simba” from Kraft’s, to advertise the Broadway Show: the Lion King. His other credentials were that he was an ex-Special Forces Marine turned photographer who was an exotic animal broker on the side. He mentioned that he was currently brokering four tigers from a circus to a “sanctuary”. Mr. Arron was not, at that time, listed as a licensed exotic animal broker on the USDA’s site. I hung up the phone, certain that if I wanted a glass house with glass furniture and a glass staircase, this guy would tell me he’d built many before and he could build me a top of the line glass abode. I was uncomfortable during and after our conversation and told my husband and friends that something was wrong but I didn't know what. The following day I spoke to the facility’s elderly vet, who said Kraft’s were not only doing a wonderful thing in this area, but they were participant’s in a new program where the DNA from tigers was being registered to help with preservation of the species. He couldn't recall who was initiating this program, just "some fella from Texas." I made a note: check DNA info: Texas. I spent a great deal of time tracking down the phone number to Disney's Animal Kingdom, where they denied knowledge of Mr. Arron and were agitated when I related his claim that 70% of the original livestock he provided had died in the months before opening their park. I also made a note to try to find information on Kraft’s curator, who bragged about having connections to Yellowstone Bear World, as well as to the owners of, or friends of owners of Caesars Palace and the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The only name in my notebook is Michael Ferguson, and Mr. Ferguson showed up as the licensed operator of Yellowstone Bear World, which was the “sanctuary” that had placed the order to 100 black bear cubs.
I had continued to try to explore fundraising options and had scheduled an appointment to meet with the curator, Christine Chandler, on July 22, 2001, at 9:00 am. Friends and I had decided on an African village theme for a fall festival and I wanted to measure empty corn cribs stored in a back lot because we thought they‘d make swell tiki huts. I had arranged a babysitter for my daughter, but Christine cancelled our meet because thunder storms the previous night had caused her roof to collapse. I cancelled my sitter. At approximately 10:00 Mrs. Kraft called my home and asked if I was going to meet Christine. I told her we had cancelled the appointment but she said I should come out because she could show me the corncribs. I contacted my sitter, but she had already made other plans, so I packed up my seven year old and we went out to BEARCAT Hollow. I did not know Mrs. Kraft. On the way to the empty corncribs, Kraft talked about how she was due to receive a number of retired circus tigers and how she was planning on making a performance area in the middle of her facility so the animals could more closely interact with visitors and perform for people. We walked past a pen containing four grizzly bear cubs and Mrs. Kraft started calling for them to stand up and hug themselves. Kraft fed the big cats so when the animals heard her voice they started to make a ruckus in the barn. My daughter and I were about to measure a corncrib when Kraft asked if Emily wanted to see what the big cats were doing. I said she could look and we followed Kraft. When we walked into the big barn, Kraft was standing at an enclosure with her fingers in the cage, massaging the jowls of a 6 month old liger named Daniel. The pen had a tiger and a lion (Simba) in with it, all of which were about the same size. Kraft said they had “made” the liger.
When we walked on from that pen and got to the second enclosure we found three adult tigers, one white and two orange. The white tiger fixed my daughter in a stare, stopping us dead in our tracks. We were at least 10 feet away from the pen, but having grown up on a farm I’m quite familiar with the look a cat gives when it finds something “interesting” - like a mouse.. I put my arms around my daughter and told Kraft I didn’t like the way the animal was looking at her. She said the cat was her “baby boy, Como”.. He was three years old and wouldn’t hurt anyone. He had lived in the house so was well acquainted with people and was just getting old enough for use to breed. There was an unusual noise coming from further down and Kraft said it was from a tiger protecting it’s meat. Kraft walked on to the cage containing three Bengal tigers panting over chunks of meat. We stayed well back. I told Kraft we needed to get to measuring so she turned and started walked back out of the barn. I took my daughter by the hand and we also began walking out of the barn.
As we walked down the aisle I noticed that the white tiger had moved to the front of the enclosure and was laying down, watching for us. I knew he was looking for his “mouse”, which made me nervous but he was caged and we were at least 8 feet away. Still, I tried to rush my daughter. When she came into view the 400 pound cat put his head down behind a kick plate, pinned his ears, and shifted his weight onto his front paws - like a cat getting ready to pounce. We continued to walk. Kraft was already out the front entrance to the barn. When we got in front of the tiger’s pen he stood up on the gate. The gate, which had been improperly hung, lifted off of it‘s hinges, releasing the animal. My daughter screamed, crouched against the far wall and put her arm over her head to shield it from the animal. He grabbed her in his jaws but I couldn’t see where his teeth sank in because his head was massive. I had yelled for Kraft, who came up and was pushing against the cat with her buttocks and was hysterically screaming, “Como, No. No, Como.” The cat scraped my daughter across the wall in front of him and ran out the barn door (about 90 feet away) with Emily dangling, silent, between his front legs. Kraft stood there screaming and crying and I chased the cat.
It’s amazing, the things you think in the midst of trauma. The world seems to be moving in slow motion, while your brain and heart race at lightning pace. I vividly recall wondering how I was going to tell my husband that his only child had been killed by a tiger in Racine, MN. She wasn’t moving and I was sure she was dead. I wanted her body back and was not going to allow him to eat her. How was I going to do that? I picked up a metal fencing rod that was laying in the dirt and recalled my Dad teaching me how to swing a bat. I would smash the heavy rod on to the back of the sacrum of the cat and when he dropped my daughter to confront me, I was sure he would open his mouth so I could plant a homerun into his jaws.
I had not been back in the junkyard portion of this place and was surprised by all of animals kept in rusty and dilapidated enclosures back there. I heard screaming and saw miniature horses with misshapen hooves frantically running about. And there were animal noises coming from other places as well. The tiger, more interested in the moving prey than he was in my motionless daughter, dropped her in the dirt. I dropped the rod and picked her up. He turned to face me, more curious than anything, and I heard Kraft screaming, “You have to get her out of there!” I turned around and saw that there were two other tigers out as well. They were about 60 feet away and up by the barn near Kraft, who had her back against the barn wall. My daughter said, “Mommy” when I picked her up but she unconscious again and I needed to find a place to tend to her so I carried her around a horse trailer, out of sight of the cats, and tried to open the back doors. I couldn’t raise the pins with a 52 pound child in one arm and there was no way I was setting her down so I yelled for Kraft to open the door so I could lock us in the trailer. She did open the door of the trailer.
My daughter was in shock. She was grey/blue, unable to focus…and looked SO small. Her breathing was shallow and her legs were bloody and had little rocks embedded under the skin from being dragged. I laid her on the trailer floor and carefully tried to figure out the extent of her injuries. I found a deep puncture in her back, up by her left shoulder blade, with smaller tooth marks leading down and around her side, Under her left arm I saw a rib and a ragged four inch tear that ended with another puncture that went behind the muscle in chest. I took off my coat and wrapped her in it while I held her close and applied pressure to get the blood to express out of the deep puncture in her back. I used my other hand to hold the skin up over her exposed rib and started talking to her. She told me she was “So cold” and asked me if she was dying. I held her closer and told her I would not let her die. Her breathing became more regular as I held her in that trailer, wondering how the hell I was going to get her out of there. I started wondering where Kraft was and tried to orient myself to the outside area so I could her out of the trailer for proper medical treatment.
It seemed like an eternity but Kraft finally showed up. She was sweating profusely and was panicked. I kept telling her to calm down and told her I needed to get to a phone. She said she didn’t have a phone so I told her I had a cell phone in my car and she had to get us there. She drove us through three gates and to the park entrance, babbling about how they were going to lose everything. Neither Mr. or Mrs. Kraft, nor anyone associated with their facility, called the hospital to see how our daughter was though we had provided them with the secure number to her room because we assumed they would want to know how she was progressing.
When we finally got to the parking lot I had Kraft stop a park employee who was leaving because I could not get a cell phone signal, which meant I had to get my daughter to the hospital. I needed someone to either drive my car while I held my daughter, or I needed them to hold her while I drove because she needed to remain focused, warm and awake. The young girl took one look at my daughter and paled. I knew that she would not be able to drive. I drove, repeatedly dialing 911 until I got a signal. I was met in Stewartville, MN and a helicopter took my daughter to Mayo Clinic.
Now, as if having a child attacked by a tiger in Minnesota is not bizarre enough….it was not the attack but the events following the attack which caused me to discover that Kraft’s were part of something much larger; something insidious.
There were, and remain printed in my files, 32,000 postings on the WCCO news site regarding the public’s opinion of events following the tiger attack. I found the entire thing confusing because I had saved my daughter’s life, was kind and concerned about the owners of the facility, and yet none of the press accounts of what happened were accurate and the Chief Deputy in Mower County was reporting that the injury was so insignificant that they didn’t know if the child was still in the hospital. (She was in serious condition at that time.) Then, we found out that not only were we blamed for causing the attack, but there were reports that I was demanding that the tiger be killed as an act of vengeance. State law required the euthanization of the animal for testing, and we weren’t allowed to weigh in. I was in disbelief. We were being kind and would not allow Mayo to release a statement on Emily’s condition until she was listed as “serious but stable” because we considered the incident to be a freak accident and weren’t angry and didn’t want problems for anyone. We were living by the golden rule….
This is called a “disinformation campaign” and is apparently typical when the government doesn’t want anyone to start asking questions about an incident or facility if questions might expose/jeopardize their operations/money.
Mayo Clinic had to call in two extra operators to handle the calls about the incident, and the staff was instructed to say that they did not have our daughter registered as a patient. No one was to have access to us or our room. On July 22, shortly after Emily had come out of her 2.5 hour surgery, I received a call from Ken Arron. He said he had two questions for me: 1) would I sign a waiver releasing Kraft’s from any liability? I said we didn’t plan to sue and we weren’t blaming them for what was clearly an accident so no, I wouldn’t sign any waivers. At that point he said he said he had only one more question….”Was your daughter screaming when the tiger dragged her out of the barn?” I hung up.
Christine Chandler called the hospital the afternoon of July 23rd. She told me that the tiger would be killed and tested for rabies if I didn’t do something. I told her we had no say and couldn’t change state law. I didn’t believe the cat attacked her because he had rabies, but the Public Health Department said it didn’t matter, he had to be tested. She started to talk about the gate but then stopped herself short and would not elaborate or explain but instead got quite nasty. She said, “I’m going to do whatever I have to do to keep him alive.” and hung up.
Mayo Clinic had identified one bacteria from the bite sites, but there was an unidentified bacteria that was highly resistant to the antibiotics. This meant Emily would require large doses of the proper antibiotics. The problem we had was that my daughter was sensitive to and/or allergic to a number of the available antibiotics and so treatment posed risks. *Mayo later applied to the FDA to name the new strain of bacteria they found, but the FDA listed is as a substrain of pasteurella. This information has been used to treat other individuals attacked by tigers, who are the only known carriers of this infectious agent.
Chandlers threat of “doing whatever was necessary” caused alarm because with an unidentified bacteria, it was absolutely necessary to test the animal for disease and there were concerns that she was going to move/hide the cat. We hired an attorney, who contacted a private investigator and had him sit outside one of the entrances to BEARCAT Hollow in an effort to make sure the cat was not moved. We would later find a letter to indicate that he had been visited by both Christine Chandler and a Mower County Deputy, both of whom told him that the only reason the cat was going to be killed was because I wanted “revenge”. That information, which was misinformation, caused this man to allow the Mower County Sheriff’s Department and Chandler/Kraft’s to move the tiger off premises and to a facility in Iowa. This constitutes not only violations of state and federal law, but it also endangered the welfare of our child.
On July 25, 2001, after receiving a phoned death threat, Rochester Police Officer Dwight Parker told me that we were being attacked because the Mower County Sheriff’s Department report was deliberately falsified to cause the attacks. I was confused by this and asked him what he meant and why that would be done and he said, “I can’t say any more. It’s being handled internally and I’ve probably already said too much. We’re not supposed to talk about it.” This was a Rochester cop, which puts him in Olmsted County. The attack happened in Mower County so I couldn’t figure out why Olmsted County would be handling anything regarding the matter because it didn’t concern them. Parker would say no more beyond suggesting that we move out of our home for a while. We took his advice and moved in with my mother-in-law.
I contacted our attorney with this information and the deliberate disinformation.. I was crying, it was after 10 pm and he said not to worry about it, he’d get the report in the morning. He called the Mower County attorney and requested the report. Two days later he said, “I’m beginning to think there’s something to what you said. I can’t get them to send me a copy of the report.” On July 30, 2001 I called Mower County Attorney Pat Oman and told him that if he did not fax a copy of that report to my attorney within the half hour, I was going to drive to Austin and get a copy myself. He faxed my lawyer the report and lo and behold…what was written was nothing like what happened and statements releasing Kraft’s from any responsibility were allegedly attributed to me. The attack was allegedly provoked by my daughter while I stood there and the animal “dropped the child immediately upon command when Kraft said, “Como, No.” This account was attributed to me.
Another element necessary in a disinformation campaign to protect a criminal operation involving government officials is to mitigate any liability to thwart a lawsuit because lawsuits create exposure. Exposure is bad.
On July 26, 2001, a friend called me and said that my child’s medical information, or something very much like it, had been released onto the WCCO news website. While it was not the exact wording from the medical report, the information was written by someone who either read her file and interpreted it more favorably to prove there had been no significant injury to my daughter, or was written by someone who had been in the ER. Much to my amazement there is no one in the state of Minnesota, and no one in federal law enforcement who has jurisdictional authority over Privacy Violations. Mayo’s lead counsel called it the most egregious violation of patient privacy she had ever seen, and offered that if my husband sued his employer they would reimburse us for the attorney because unless there was a lawsuit, Mayo Clinic could not do anything. My sister-in-law is an attorney and after a week of trying to find a way to get the information off of the WCCO site (the news station said they could not pull it) she posted a note on their site that said that if WCCO did not pull the information within 24 hours she would file a suit. The site came down, but someone by the name of Comosrevenge had moved the information from the WCCO site and had started a new site called, Comoslaw. This was supposedly a place where Como supporters could gather to work on changing the rabies rule so other tigers would not be euthanized for attacking people. Comosrevenge, the Founder of the site, wrote that his purpose in life was not to “get revenge on the asshole parents and spoiled brat who did this.” Comosrevenge posted our names, address and telephone number on that site, and on the Animal Liberation Organization chat board with the suggestion that someone pay us a visit and shoot us.
The FBI lists the ALO as a radical and violent domestic terrorist organization, but a no one in local, state or federal law enforcement had jurisdictional authority over written threats posted on the ALO/Comoslaw sites.
On August 4, 2001, a reporter named Gail Plewacki called me to warn me about a man named Hafez Talib. Talib, she said, went by the American name of Jeff Howard and lived in Anoka, MN. She claimed he was a known PLO member who was under an FBI security watch. She said a Humane Society official tried to bring Howard up on charges of animal cruelty because he had starving tigers chained to trees in his backyard, but the FBI told him to leave Talib alone. Plewacki said he was a known associate of Ken Kraft’s and that he had been in the courtroom when the county was holding it’s hearings on the disposition of the tiger. She said he had a history of violence and she did not want anything to happen to our family. (This would not be the last time I would be told about Mr. “Howard” and his history of violence and his association with Kraft‘s.)
Ms. Plewacki shared information about Kraft’s facility and said it was anything but a sanctuary. She told me about a publication called Animal Finders Guide, where Kraft’s were heavy advertisers: leopards for sale - whole litters, bears, tigers. She said was going to interview their curator, who insisted that BEARCAT Hollow did not buy, sell or breed animals, and after getting her to re-state that they didn’t deal in animals, she was going to show her the magazine and ask her about the ads - on camera.
I still didn’t know anything about these government COINTELPRO/disinformation campaigns so I was trying to get Mower County officials to amend their report so the harassment, which included a bomb threat and a dead and decaying animal in our mailbox, would cease. The officer who wrote the report, Martha Anderson, actually thought the threats were funny and laughed after admitting that her report was false because there was nothing I could make her do to change it. A Rochester Police Officer, on one occasion, sent my daughter to the basement of our home in case the anonymous package she had received exploded.
I know this sounds like terrorist type activity, but this is “counter-intelligence” and so it is allowed, even when it is perpetrated against children.
I couldn’t get the Mower County Sheriff’s Department to correct the report and was getting no where with state or local authorities, so I continued to go to the FBI.. I took copies of the privacy act violations, the threats from Comosrevenge, the information showing Kraft’s involvement in something other than “saving” animals, copies of the police reports, the information on Talib and Kraft….and was concerned for Officer Parker but divulged his name and told the FBI that on July 25th Parker told me that this was all the result of Mower County deliberately falsifying the report.
I now realize I was the chicken going to fox to ask for help.
The threats continued and I was passing out from the stress. I developed a severe case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. For three months the paper in Rochester allowed three full pages of editorials, most of which were by people who were responding to the disinformation and so wanted me prosecuted for negligence. We hadn’t ever talked to the press so there was nothing coming from us, and the local paper appears to print what they’re told to print regardless of evidence/facts so speaking with them wouldn’t have mattered anyway. The local television station filmed our home and imposed our address on top of it on an evening news program. I couldn’t believe that things had been SO twisted, but on January 27th , 2002, Christine Chandler confirmed what Parker said and added that Chief Deputy (now Sheriff) Terese Amazi told her not to worry about the truth getting out because she would make certain everyone thought I was just a mean and vindictive woman who wanted revenge for the tiger attack.
This is COINTELPRO “strategy” that is a vital part of a disinformation campaign when you need to discredit a victim whose story might be so compelling that people and the press might start to ask questions that lead to exposing the truth about an operation. Money is most important.
On or about August 21, 2001, at approximately 5:00 pm, I received an email from a Colonel Terry Markham, CIA, Langley VA. The email consisted of a photo of Iraqi freedom fighters in the desert with military assault rifles. They were standing by or sitting in a camouflaged jeep. I contacted a relative in Washington, DC, who called a friend in the Secret Service. SA Steve Tekach called and inquired about the email. He took down relevant information and said he would call me back after making some calls. Tekach called back and said that he had confirmed that Markham did work at CIA HQ but he’d gone home for the day. Tekach then said he called the Minneapolis office of the FBI and talked to the duty agent about the situation. Tekach said, “You’re a hero! You chased a tiger to save your daughter’s life? That’s amazing.” He said the matter would be further explored tomorrow but we might want to spend the night somewhere else. I didn’t understand how the FBI could write that I was a “hero” and that I had “chased a tiger to save my daughter” when that information was not in the Mower County report.
They know the truth and they write it in a reports, but with COINTELPRO they lie to the victims and general public..
In early September a woman named Tammy Quist left a message at my home. Quist operates a sanctuary in Minnesota and has taken in a lot of the animals bred and sold by Kraft’s. She said a crazy woman from Alabama was calling her about Kraft’s and that this woman was trying to get ahold of me. Quist would say no more and no one from Alabama called me so I didn’t worry about that information.
In October of 2001 a hunter from Lakeville, MN made the news when he called 911 to report that he had been stalked by two lions and a cat that didn’t look like any he had ever seen before. This occurred several miles from the Kraft facility and came on the heels of other rumors: farmers were missing cats and dogs, lions running in front trucks at night, roadkill eaten by something that left all of the grass surrounding the carcass flat; three lions chasing geese from a pond, and on the day of this report, a husband and wife said that a cow had been killed and nearly completely eaten some time while they had been away.. The dead cow was on the property adjacent to where the hunter said he was stalked while setting up to bow hunt. They photographed what was left of the cow.
This story became more interesting when a Minneapolis Star and Tribune reporter interviewed DNR Agent Jeff Fleming about the incident. Fleming said Mrs. Kraft accompanied him to the woods where the stalking occurred. She had a bucket of raw meat and after putting the meat on the ground began called for “Daniel, Simba, and a third animal.” The names piqued my curiosity because I had seen a lion and a liger named Daniel and Simba. I spoke to the reporter, who read me the email he had received from the hunter. This reporter said Agent Fleming made it clear he believed the animals belonged to Kraft but no one wanted to deal with it. He said Fleming seemed disgusted with the whole thing and had expressed the opinion that the place needed to be shut down. The three animals, based on size, were thought to be approximately 10 months old. Kraft’s were interviewed for the paper and when asked why she called for “Daniel and Simba” Mrs. Kraft said she assumed that everyone would give their lions those names. No one believed her but since they hadn’t found the animals they didn’t have proof that the animals belonged to Kraft. The reporter didn’t have the name of the third animal so I called Agent Fleming. Agent Fleming said one of the lions described by the hunter was a crippled up animal with only part of a mane. The other was a male lion and the third was some freaky looking thing. I asked Agent Fleming if the name of the third animal Kraft called for was “Misty” because the description of the crippled and mangy looking cat fit my recollection of a lioness named Misty, and Daniel and Simba, in pen #1 on the day of the attack, would have been approximately 10 months old by this time. Fleming said he couldn’t be absolutely sure, but “Misty” sounded right. Park employees, including the (now) ex-curator Christine Chandler confirmed that Daniel and Simba were 10 months old and that one was a liger and the other was a male lion - the two I saw in July. Misty was a crippled and small lioness who was often, according to them, kept in an enclosure with Daniel and Simba. These are FBI “coincidences”.
Agent Fleming and I spoke for quite some time, and he expressed frustration with Mower County authorities in dealing with Kraft’s. He said he didn’t know why, but no one would do anything about Kraft and his operation but it had been a problem for years. He went further and said that he spoke to Chief Deputy Amazi for over an hour because this posed a serious public safety threat, but it was clear she wasn’t going to do anything about it.. That was interesting information because Amazi had told the Star and Tribune that she had not received any calls about the matter and so she had no information for the press. Fleming further stated that he knew Amazi and the Fillmore County Sheriff met at Kraft’s to discuss the matter. I would later be told that Amazi and the Fillmore County Sheriff actually helped Kraft’s draft the press release they sent to the papers, denying that the cats belonged to them. I called Mower and Fillmore County’s to request dispatch records for October 19, 2001, and was told there were no dispatch records regarding the incident because it had not happened - the hunter was mistaken. Three years later, with a new Sheriff in Fillmore County, I was given three pages of dispatch records that not only reflect that all of Fillmore County’s resources were being used to hunt down those animals, but that Mower County SD was heavily involved and Chief Deputy Amazi had provided detailed information to Fillmore County about the number, age, species and size of the cats. Additionally, her office called the State Patrol to request a helicopter with heat seeking capabilities to aide them in their search for the animals. That call was confirmed by State Patrol dispatch in St. Paul, where I was told they couldn’t help because they did not have a helicopter available at that time. The pilot to whom I spoke said he remembered the incident very well and laughing said, “It’s not every day you’re asked to look for lions in Minnesota.” Sheriff Amazi continues to refuse access to the dispatch records from October 19, 2001 and has angrily stated that this “didn’t happen so there is nothing to see.” I have expressed a desire to look at “nothing” on a number of occasions, having never seen nothing before, but those publicly available documents are unavailable to the public.
In February of 2002, another individual and I sat for two hours and listened as a taxidermist described a variety of things, including the scene in a field when he was invited to help recover the escaped cats. He described an antique truck and driver - both of whom were known to and identified by the Racine resident who was with me, and he said, “There were at least 10 big-ass government SUV’s, Suburban type trucks, and about 20 guys. They had more illegal firearms in that field …like an army. They coulda brought down a tank.” He said their “job” was to quarantine the area and shoot if the animals tried to escape. He described Mrs. Kraft pulling up in a red SUV (she had one) with a red horse trailer attached (I hid in there with my daughter), and said she drove into the woods with the team leader. They came out approximately 40 minutes later, and he was told they had recovered two of the cats.
FBI received all of the above information and yet they wrote in a FOIA response that there is nothing to indicate that the animals were ever out. This would mean that the photo of the dead/eaten cow is a fake. The hunter…was lying. Agent Fleming….was lying. The farmer who called in when the lions were chasing geese from his pond.…was hallucinating. The taxidermist....definitely lying and his description of Kraft’s vehicle and the antique truck and it’s owner, who is known to be an associate of Kraft’s…..that’s an FBI coincidences because anyone could have given those descriptions. The dispatch reports that showed Mower County officials were/are lying are irrelevant.
If you tell the lie often enough, people will believe it. COINTELPRO.
I bought a book detailing the ins and outs of the exotic animal industry and used it as a guide to understanding how fake sanctuaries work. It soon became obvious that while much is being exploited, very little is being saved. How could it be that tigers are considered endangered when they breed like housecats?. (They’re only endangered in the wild.) You really can, as it turns out, buy a tiger for $100..00 at a truck stop? (Puppies at the local PetSmart cost more than that.) I subscribed to the Animal Finders Guide and found listings for tigers and cubs “To Give Away To A Good Home.” You can buy a zedonk, and if you’re looking for something special to draw on the sympathies of people coming to your sanctuary you can buy a five legged cow. And sure enough, inside was a big ad from Kraft’s saying they would buy or sell entire litters of animals, including animals they did not have permits to buy or sell.
I followed the instructions in the book and took a look at Kraft’s USDA licensing information as well as their filing with the Secretary of State.. It showed that they had three businesses operating out of one location, two for profits and one non-profit. They were co-mingling their assets, which I was pretty sure was an IRS “no-no“, and they were fraudulently advertising that the animals were living at a sanctuary after having been abandoned and abused, when BEARCAT Hollow had NO assets: no animals, no land, no buildings. The animals belonged to the for-profit entities and the public knew nothing about those. BEARCAT Hollow, it seemed, did not really exist. I took this information to the FBI, along with information showing county officials aiding and supporting the start-up of this fraudulent business, heaped it on top of the rest of the information and asked “Why is law enforcement protecting a front?“ The agent didn’t have much to say about the new information but offered that what I was finding was incompetence and not corruption. I reminded him that incompetence and corruption were not mutually exclusive traits, but that they often showed up hand-in-hand.
On December 28, 2001 I received a call from a friend who said a man whose family home had been damaged by a bear wanted to speak to me. My family met the Boone’s and DeGeus’s on January 4, 2002. De Geus’s shared a property line with Kraft’s and the Boone’s lived about a mile away. The conversation shifted from concerns about public safety to knowledge of numerous falsified police reports or missing reports to protect Kraft’s. Mr. Boone was very upset because there was a great deal of pertinent information missing from the report on the bear incident, including the fact that the bear attacked a man in front of the deputy, and Boone felt the Sheriff’s Department was protecting Kraft. Additionally, he was frustrated because they would not issue supplements to the report and when he tried to insist, the Sheriff asked him if he had a lawyer. I suggested that Mr. Boone make an appointment with the FBI so they could add his first hand information to mine and others because it was increasingly obvious that they needed to conduct a public corruption investigation. Mr. Boone met with the FBI, and would continue to seek assistance from them as harassment by Kraft’s escalated and the Sheriff’s Department ignored their calls for assistance.
David Conway, a defense contractor for Northrupp Grumman, is in my opinion, so deceitful and abusive as to require a chapter of his own but that will have to wait. Short intro: I had held David at arms length for some months prior to the tiger attack, trying to re-establish an appropriate boundary for our relationship, but following the attack he re-entered my life and doubled his efforts to separate me from my family. It did not occur to me that David had been tapped for a special “job” (me) and that these were deliberate acts of malice and not the acts of a caring friend. (It would be revealed that David Conway sent me the email from Colonel Terry Markham’s Office in CIA HQ in August.) His tactics, I would later find out, are part of something called the Tavistock Method. This is something our agencies use to emotionally and psychologically break a person. It is my opinion that individuals with a healthy and whole conscience cannot and most likely would not perform these services, but I am convinced that I was never dealing with people of conscience so….. The evidence leading me to the conclusion that he deliberately participated in acts aimed at harming and later destroying me is irrefutable and undeniable and yet, as with all things, good often comes from bad and it would turn out that through David Conway the FBI/NSA and local authorities finally showed their filthy hands. (Much more on him later)
On January 1, 2002, Conway called me from a hotel room in Lexington, MA. He had been at a meeting with military personnel and individuals from Raytheon Corporation. He said he felt it was time to start a website to counter the Comoslaw website because I had developed enough information to show that Kraft’s BEARCAT Hollow business was not at all what it appeared to be. He tried to teach me how to download information onto the site but I’m rather hopeless with a computer and so it turned out that the easier thing to do was to scan documents in for him so he could download the information. Hindsight being 20/20, I wonder if Conway and “Company” hoped I would download actionable material onto the website so I could be sued. Fortunately, I couldn’t manage the simple steps required, so Colonel Markham’s boy had to do that work. This would prove to be the event that began an escalation in the COINTELPRO maneuvers, none of which were successful because their targets were good people.
The immediate information came from the USDA’s licensing index and simply posed the question, “Is this a sanctuary or is it something else?” The newspaper articles with information about the Boone family’s ordeal and Mrs. Kraft’s admission that there were too many animals to keep track of was posted. And, the misinformation on the police reports received appropriate attention. As time went on and more information illuminating law enforcement/county complicity became available, the site morphed into one where we asked the questions, “Mower County: incompetence or corruption?” Conway put a counter on the site and on January 2, there were 642 visitors within 4 hours. Now, this is significant because this was not available as a “group” or “chat”, did not come up via a Google of Yahoo search because the crawler had not yet identified it, and so this site was only accessible if someone gave you the actual address. Also of interest was that on January 4 I started having noticeable problems with my computer, including pornographic messages in my email account - some listing the sender as Ken Kraft. My home had been broken in to - again - and I had noticed that I was being followed and photographed. Local law enforcement said I should try a “good Merlot” to deal with the breaking and entering and stalking, and the FBI didn’t have jurisdictional authority to look into computer hacking so I was on my own. I hired a computer expert who came into my house and installed a program that would trace the location of computers hacking into my system. Thankfully this was a simple program and I was able to track my hacker to an insurance company in Clearwater, Florida. I spoke with the Office Manager, who located the computer and it’s operator. She said her company would handle the problem but she would not provide me with the name of the guilty employee. Nancy Kraft was from Clearwater, FL and allegedly bragged about long-standing ties to organized crime. She had children in Clearwater, FL whom she told neighbors were involved with organized crime in Clearwater, Florida. I didn’t believe it, but I took all of this information and the printouts from my computer to the FBI”. The FBI does not have jurisdictional authority over organized criminal activity. And in fact, I was told that in the 1960’s OC mob bosses signed an agreement that created a neutral zone around Rochester so all of the “Don’s” and their “officers” could receive their health care at Mayo Clinic without fear of getting whacked.
On January 8, 2002, Clyde Boone made an impassioned and moving plea for the Racine City Council to revoke Kraft’s Conditional Use Permit pending an inspection after upgraded had been made to their fencing around enclosures for carnivorous and predatory animals. Mr. Boone’s concern was for the children and elderly people who visited the park or who lived in the area, and for livestock and property that would continue to be lost if these incidents continued. This caused an escalation in harassment but there was no where to go for relief because law enforcement agencies in Minnesota: local, state and federal, do not had no jurisdictional authority to provide relief from escalating vandalism, harassment and threats. The Mayor stood up and gave a speech about planes “buzzing” Kraft’s and other activities, and tried to make it sound as if Kraft’s were being victimized. Concerns about PETA were raised, which was odd since according to PETA, Kraft’s had called them to ask them to harass us after the tiger attack but PETA wanted nothing to do with them; and I do mean nothing. Amy Rhodes, the PETA Representative, was quite disgusted with Kraft’s and her organization would later write letters urging local, state and federal authorities to close the facility down. We left that meeting wondering why the Mayor seemed so intent on painting Kraft’s as the victims, and why he seemed opposed to a sensible and reasonable suggestion: inspect and fortify the facility before re-opening.
Two days later I received a call from Chick DeGeus. Mrs. DeGeus lives behind Kraft’s and cares for her grandchildren in her home. For years she had looked out her back window with binoculars to make sure there were no loose animals before allowing her grandchildren out to play. Mrs. DeGeus had speculated, at Mr. Boones on January 4, that the reason Ken Kraft did not get charged or arrested for any of the illegal things taking place on his property was because he had been a member of the Mower County Sheriff’s Posse and they never charged one of their own. On the 10th she called because when checking for loose cats she noticed the Mayor’s black Volkswagon bug at Kraft’s and said it remained there for nearly two hours. All she said at that time was that “something was up.” She called again, later, and said that she heard a rumor that there was going to be a private city council meeting for Kraft’s. She said the meeting was illegal and she wanted citizens to attend so we could hear what they were up to.
Eighteen people showed up on short notice. I taped the meeting, which caused one city council member to nearly have a stroke. It was clear to the most casual observer that the reason Gary Landgrebe had been at Kraft’s earlier in the day was to script events. Most interesting to my husband and me was the fact that Ken Kraft dumped a hinge and pin out of a bag and said “This here deal is what started the whole thing. I called my lawyer and we’re gonna sue the manufacturer because they made this wrong and when Como hit the gate the pin broke up here at this end.” The hinge and pin are significant because when the USDA sent their agent to “investigate”, I had told her about Chandlers remarks to me when Emily was in the hospital. She had already spoken to Kraft’s and on her first visit she said she was told that the hinge and pin had been thrown away. She later revisited the issue and amended her report to say she saw the “Now broken hinge and pin.” I knew something was very, very wrong and it was at that moment that I decided to sue Kraft’s.
The Mayor did not allow any of the members of the audience to comment or ask
questions at this special meeting, but instead said that citizens would be invited to bring
their concerns to the next regular city council meeting, which would be February 12,
2002. The residents were relieved and thought this a fair approach so no one objected.
There was a great deal of discussion among citizens following the bizarre meeting.
Kraft’s talked about having some zoo landscaping company from the Twin Cities,
Steamscapes design a zoo for them. They said they were going to upgrade their fencing
and had plans to put electric fencing along the top of all of the cages. Mr. Kraft explained
that he realized they had had a number of “unfortunate” incidents but those were due to
the incompetence of Christine Chandler, who had come to them for a job and had
presented herself as a capable animal expert. When they realized that she was ruining
their reputation through her negligence and incompetence, they fired her. the lions/liger
came up a city council member offered, “We all know whose animals those
were,” while Mrs. Kraft poo-pooed the entire thing and said the hunter had a vivid
imagination. Mr. Kraft offered that the animals that were seen roaming about, the lions,
liger, and cougars were “extra animals from Wisconsin that were dumped off by the
DNR and that he was just getting blamed for the mess they were creating. I grew up
in Wisconsin and never realized we had “extra” lions and ligers in my state. I didn’t even know they were indigenous to this region. How cool was that? I HAD to reveal this dirty secret and was certain this information would be of interest to people who flocked to Mr. Conway’s website. (Did Kraft really believe we were THAT dumb?) That ridiculous excuse, and my subsequent call to the Wisconsin DNR, probably saved my life. In summary, Kraft’s admitted they had had a number of problems, but none of them were their fault. They apologized to their victims: us, the Boone’s, and residents of Racine, but actions speak louder than words and the following day, Ken and Nancy Kraft filed a police report alleging that they were being harassed and that vehicles had driven up and down the road adjacent to their facility. One car allegedly stopped and the person was accused of looking at their animals. Kraft’s had it written in the report that they suspected the cars were owned by me and Clyde Boone and that this had something to do with the bear and tiger incidents. No had any reason to harass Kraft’s, especially since the devil, so to speak, was in the details of their paperwork and so there was no need for anyone to spend any time near Kraft’s.
Tom Solin, WI DNR agent in charge of Special Investigations, was momentarily stunned when I asked him why he was dumping all of Wisconsin’s extra lions, ligers and cougars off in Southeastern, Minnesota when he had to know that this was causing trouble for Ken and Nancy Kraft. Once he realized I was joking, we got to talking about what had happened to our family, what was still happening to our family, and what I thought I might be finding as I dug into Kraft’s business operations. Tom was not surprised and offered to help me understand how to sort through the paperwork to find the information I was looking for. He also said he knew of Ken Kraft and that Kraft had been an associate of a dealer in Wisconsin whom Solin had caught “hanging bears” for the lucrative gall bladder trade some years back. For those of you who don’t know what this is, you put a chain around a bears neck and hoist it up onto a beam so the animal elongates. This makes it easier to find and remove the gall bladder. Tom said the animals are usually alive when this is done because a “fresh” bladder fetches a higher price in the black market. Tom said another practice common among this crew was the crating of bears. This, he explained, was where a bear was loaded into a crate, shot, packed in dry ice, and shipped off to some lucky buyer in Asia. This practice began after Asians realized our industrious and clever exotic animal owners were charging them for bear gall bladders, but were actually shipping them pig gall’s, which are about the same size and weight. What gall to send the wrong gall! I guess the best way to know that you were getting what you payed for was to actually slice it out of the bear yourself. So this was what happened to some of those animals the owners advertised as “Gods magnificent creatures who teach us about love and respect….” The stories about what he had seen and what he knew about many of these “sanctuaries” and individuals who run them were heart wrenching and angering.

In the beginning
In the beginning, we believed men were honest, police were good, and our government was looking out for us. Now we know men are liars, only God is good, and our government is only looking out for itself and wants supreme power. This is our story.
